MODE OF ACTION: It is a systemic herbicide that is used after emergence and prevents fatty acid synthesis. Phytotoxic symptoms appear 1-3 weeks after application. Meristematic tissue growth ceases and the tissues rapidly become necrotic.

INFORMATION ABOUT RESISTANCE: The plant protection product named EFDAL APLANT is a herbicide classified as Group A according to its mechanism of action. Repeated applications of plant protection products with the same mechanism of action encourage the development of resistance. Therefore, in order to delay the development of resistance, do not exceed the total number of applications recommended by EFDAL APLANT within the same production season. In cases where the application must be repeated, be careful to use plant protection products with different mechanisms of action (except Group A).

COMPATIBILITY: Cannot be mixed with other plant protection products.

USAGE: EFDAL APLANT is a new active ingredient plant protection product that controls narrow-leaved weeds in all wheat varieties and summer and winter barley varieties. It can be used from the two-leaf period of cereals to the end of the tillering period. Since it contains a spreading adhesive, an additional spreading-adhesive is not required.

APPLICATION PERIOD: It can be applied from the two-leaf period of wheat and barley to the end of the tillering period.

APPLICATION TECHNIQUE: Since a decrease in effectiveness is expected in conditions where plants are stressed such as drought, frost, pest and disease pressure, flooding, application should be avoided in the presence of these conditions. It is not affected by rain falling 1 hour after application. It has no phytotoxic effect in products that are rotated with cereals, and soil type and organic matter content are not important in its biological activity. It is well tolerated by wheat and barley plants for which it is recommended.
