Product features

MODE OF ACTION: It belongs to the synthetic pyrethroid class and is an insecticide with immediate and long-term effect. It has a wide domain.

INFORMATION ABOUT RESISTANCE: The plant protection product named EFDAL BETKUL 25 EC is an insecticide classified as Group 3A according to its mechanism of action. Repeated applications of plant protection products with the same mechanism of action encourage the development of resistance. For this reason, in order to delay the development of resistance, do not exceed the total recommended number of applications of EFDAL BETKUL 25 EC within the same production season. In cases where the application must be repeated, be careful to use plant protection products with different mechanisms of action (other than Group 3A).

COMPATIBILITY: It cannot be used with alkaline plant protection products. However, it is recommended to perform a pre-mix test before mixing with other plant protection products.

Usage

Pistachio-Pistachio Psyllid: Application should be made when 20-30 nymphs are seen per leaf as a result of weekly counts made on 100 compound leaves, when the majority of the eggs have hatched and before the first adult parasitoid emergence and before the sticky layer (fumagine) on the leaf surface.

Wheat-Grain Borer Beetle: In order to determine the time of the fight, the first emergence of adults from the soil and the phenology of the grain should be monitored. Against this pest that emerges gradually from the soil, application should be started approximately 10 days after emergence (stalk-up period). Frame and atrap method is applied to decide on the fight. Frame method: Counts are made with ¼ m² frames in 12 places randomly at 10-20 steps intervals in the field and application should be made in areas where an average of 5 or more adult insects are detected per m². Net method: The net is shaken in the field with 3 repetitions, counting 10 nets as one unit. Counts are carried out in this way at least at 12 points of the field. Application is made in areas where an average of 15 or more adult insects are detected in 10 nets.

Wheat- Sunn Pest: In order to determine the areas where chemical control will be applied, some counts and evaluations are made in the field in winter areas and after the sunn pest has descended to the field. Then, a decision is made on chemical control.

Tomato-Peach Aphid: The field where tomatoes are found to be infested with Peach Aphid is entered in the direction of the diagonals. If the number of pests is 10-20 in the count made on 25-50 leaves that are plucked every 3-5 steps, the control is started.

Apple-Apple Green Aphid: If 15 out of 100 shoots are infested during the vegetation period, spraying should be done.

Corn-Corn Worm: When the plants reach 20-30 cm in height, they are checked twice a week and the application is started when the first eggs are detected. Taking into account the product's effect period, 2 or 3 applications are made at 15-day intervals.

Corn-Corn Worm: In the same period, checks are made and the first application is made 1 week after the first egg packet is seen. 2 or 3 applications are made at 15-day intervals.

Potato-Potato Beetle: When the daily average temperature reaches 14-15 ˚C, the field is entered from the diagonal direction and the eggs, larvae and adults of the pest are searched in the pits. Encountering any of its stages indicates that the field is infested. If the first generation is to be treated, it should be done when the first mature (4th stage) larvae are seen on the plants. In case of treatment for the second generation, the completion of egg hatching should be waited. Since the damage that will occur during this period can be tolerated by the plant depending on the insect density, treatment may not be necessary. As a result of the research, the 20% damage caused by the potato beetle on the leaves of the potato plant can be tolerated by the plants and there is no decrease in the product. This rate increases up to 40% depending on the phenological period and development status of the plant.

Soybean-Cotton Leafworm: When 6 larvae are found in a 3 m row length in the surveys conducted or when there are 2 newly opened egg packages, the fight is started.

Olive-Olive Moth: Against flower offspring, application should be started when there is 10% and more damage in flower clusters, and against fruit offspring, application should be started when there is 10% and more damage in fruits.

Olive-Olive Blackthorn: Application should be done in the form of summer control. Summer control should be done as the first application when 50% of the egg-bearing females are empty, and as the second application when 90% are empty.

Olive-Olive Fly: When the fruits reach egg-laying maturity, pest counts should be carried out on the fruits and application should be made if 1st, 2nd and 3rd stage larvae and eggs are detected in at least 10% of them.
