Product features

MODE OF ACTION: EFDAL DAYTONNA 050 is an insecticide that is effective by preventing chitin synthesis. It is effective on leafworm larvae. It acts through the stomach rather than through contact. EFDAL DAYTONNA 050 essentially remains on the treated plant parts. It is not systemic and is a powerful larvicidal drug. The medicated larva does not shed properly.

INFORMATION ABOUT RESISTANCE:  The plant protection product named EFDAL DAYTONNA 050 is an insecticide classified as Group 15 according to its mechanism of action. Repeated applications of plant protection products with the same mechanism of action encourage the development of resistance. Therefore, in order to delay the development of resistance, do not exceed the total recommended number of applications of EFDAL DAYTONNA 050 within the same production season. In cases where the application must be repeated, be careful to use plant protection products with different mechanisms of action (except Group 15).

COMPATIBILITY: Can be mixed with neutral reaction insecticides. If the reaction of the plant protection product to be mixed is unknown, a sample is made to determine whether it is mixed. The mixture should be prepared well and used within a few hours.

Usage

Pepper-Cotton Leafworm: When 1-2 newly hatched egg packets or 4-5 larvae are seen in 100 plants, pest control is necessary. Since the result will be better when the larvae are not dispersed, care should be taken to the application time.

Cucumber (Greenhouse), Gherkin (Greenhouse)-Cotton Leafworm: When 1-2 newly hatched egg packets or 4-5 larvae are seen in 100 plants, pest control is necessary. Since the result will be better when the larvae are not dispersed, care should be taken to the application time.

Corn-Cotton Striped Leafworm: During the development period of 2-4 and 4-6 leaves, a total of 25 plants are checked at 5 points in the row, representing the field, and larvae are counted. Application is made when there are an average of 2 larvae/plant.

Cotton-Cotton Leafworm: Application should be started when 0.5 larvae per plant or 2 egg packets or 2 new inficars (incubator) are seen in 25 plants.
