USAGE OF THE PLANT PROTECTION PRODUCT: EFDAL DEVİR is a systemically effective plant protection product used after emergence against broad and narrow-leaved weeds that are a problem in corn fields. EFDAL DEVİR is essentially taken from the leaves and roots of the shoots and transported in the transmission tissues of the plants (both in xylem and phloem) and stops growth immediately after application. Mesotrione, one of the effective substances of the drug, directly stops the carotinoid biosynthesis in weeds, ensures the breakdown of chlorophyll substance, thus killing the weeds. . Nicosulfuron is an active substance from the sulfonylurea group and is an ALS enzyme synthesis inhibitor. This enzyme is needed in the production of valine and isoleucine, which are basic protein blocks.
During application, corn should be in the 1-8 true leaf stage. In post-emergence applications, slight discoloration of the leaves may occur in the corn plant under stress conditions such as weak cuticle formation, poor soil structure, cold, humid, dry weather conditions after application and extreme temperature differences between day and night. However, this situation is temporary and does not cause any negative effects on productivity. Applications should not be made during the hot hours of the day. There should be no precipitation within 4-5 hours after application. For a good weed control, care should be taken to apply 20-40 L of water per decare and a good coating with a fan nozzle.
PLANT TOLERANCE: EFDAL DEVİR is a plant protection product that can only be used on corn. It is well tolerated by corn when used in accordance with recommendations.
Attention:
-It is not recommended to be used in corn fields planted for seed production.
-It is not used in sweet corn and popping corn varieties.
-During application, the wind should prevent the drug from being carried to the surrounding sugar beet, broad bean, vegetable, vineyard and fruit areas.
-EFDAL DEVİR should not be applied in cases where an organic phosphorus soil pesticide is used. It should not be mixed with leaf fertilizers and liquid fertilizers. It should not be used as a tank mixture with other sulfonylurea compounds and consecutive applications with this group of compounds should be avoided. Animals should not be allowed into newly sprayed areas for grazing, and grass should not be taken from these areas.
