MODE OF ACTION: It is a systemic, selective herbicide that also has a contact effect. It is primarily taken from the leaves and can also be taken by the roots in moist soil. Acetyl CoA prevents the synthesis of fatty acids by inhibiting carboxylase (ACCase). It prevents the migration of acylimates towards the roots, reduces the chlorophyll content, and destroys the cell membrane by preventing photosynthesis and meristematic activity.

INFORMATION ABOUT RESISTANCE: The plant protection product named EFDAL DORPEN 28 EC is a herbicide classified as A,1 according to its mechanism of action. Repeated applications of plant protection products with the same mechanism of action encourage the development of resistance. For this reason, in order to delay the development of resistance, do not exceed the total recommended number of applications of EFDAL DORPEN 28 EC within the same production season. In cases where the application must be repeated, be careful to use plant protection products with different mechanisms of action (except Group A,1).

COMPATIBILITY: It is not recommended to be mixed with other drugs. If a mixture is required, a premix test should be performed.

Usage

USAGE: EFDAL DORPEN 28 EC is a systemic pesticide that acts on weeds from the leaves. When applied in the 2-4 leaf stages of weeds, the best effect is obtained. It is not applied in very dry weather where the temperature is above 30˚C. It is not used in corn, cotton, rice. It is applied with any tool except motorized backpack atomizer. Its effect depends on weather conditions and becomes apparent 3-7 days after spraying. If it rains 2 hours after spraying, it is not necessary to repeat the spraying.
