MODE OF ACTION: It is a nematicide with systemic and contact effects. It is taken up by the roots and transported towards the leaves. Fenamiphos has a continuous effect against ectoparasitic and endoparasitic nematodes in the soil.
INFORMATION ABOUT RESISTANCE: The plant protection product named EFDAL FENOS 400 EC is a nematicide classified as Group 1B according to its mechanism of action. Repeated applications of plant protection products with the same mechanism of action encourage the development of resistance. Therefore, in order to delay the development of resistance, do not exceed the total number of recommended applications of EFDAL FENOS 400 EC within the same production season. In cases where the application must be repeated, be careful to use plant protection products with different mechanisms of action (except Group 1B).
MIXABLE CONDITION: Not recommended for mixing with other plant protection products. If a mix is required, a pre-mix test is recommended.

Usage

Tomato - Root Knot Nematodes: The amount of water to be sent to a certain area is found by measuring (calibration). The amount of medicine to be sent to a certain area is calculated and mixed with this water and applied to the soil with a strainer bucket. Then, it is mixed into the soil with a rotavator or other processing tools; it is watered to ensure that the medicine penetrates 15-20 cm into the soil. Banana - Root Knot Nematodes: The dose that will hit each banana trough is diluted with 20 times water in a bucket and applied around the plant trunk and watered from behind. Spraying is repeated 3 times with 3-month intervals.

Spraying should be done:
1. In the stage when the above-ground part has 3-4 leaves,
2. In the stage when the first banana comb is formed,
3. In the stage when the fruit cluster is formed. In order to prevent the resistance that nematodes may create, EFDAL FENOS 400 EC should be used in only one of the applications, and other sprayings should be done with other licensed nematode drugs.
Banana- Spiral Nematode: The dose that will hit each banana trough is diluted with 20 times water in a bucket and applied around the plant trunk and watered from behind. Spraying is repeated 3 times with 3-month intervals.
Spraying should be done:
1. At the stage when the above-ground part has 3-4 leaves
2. At the stage when the first banana comb is formed
3. At the stage when the fruit cluster is formed. In order to prevent the resistance that nematodes may create, Efdal Fenos 400 EC should be used in only one of the applications, and other sprayings should be done with other licensed nematode drugs.

In Citrus Orchards - Citrus Nematode: The amount of drug that will hit here, based on the projection of the green part of the tree, is applied to the soil surface around the tree, lightly hoeed, and watered from behind. Application should be done in spring when young shoots start to appear.

Citrus Seedlings - Citrus Nematode: When citrus seedlings are transplanted, they are dipped in the prepared medicated water for 30 minutes. In Citrus Nurseries - Citrus Nematode: The required amount of medicated is applied to the soil surface with a strainer bucket. It is lightly hoe and watered from behind.
