MODE OF ACTION: It is a selective herbicide with systemic effect. It is taken up by the roots and reaches other parts of the plant via the apoplastic route (cell wall and intercellular spaces).

INFORMATION ABOUT RESISTANCE: The plant protection product named EFDAL PROKERP 50 WP is a herbicide classified as Group K1 according to its mechanism of action. Repeated applications of plant protection products with the same mechanism of action encourage the development of resistance. For this reason, in order to delay the development of resistance, do not exceed the total number of recommended applications of EFDAL PROKERP 50 WP within the same production season. In cases where the application must be repeated, be careful to use plant protection products with different mechanisms of action (except Group K1).

COMPATIBILITY: It is not recommended to use it by mixing it with other drugs.

USAGE: EFDAL PROKERP 50 WP is a wettable tos formulation. In order to achieve the best results from EFDAL PROKERP 50 WP, it should be applied using 60-80 L of water per decare at the recommended dose.

EFDAL PROKERP 50 WP can be applied at two different times in the fight against dodder in alfalfa.

1. Late winter spraying: Spraying is done when the alfalfa starts to sprout and the green parts have not yet developed enough to prevent the sprayed drug from being evenly distributed on the soil surface. With this application, it is possible to prevent dodder sprouting almost until mid-July.

2. Immediately after the first harvest: Spraying immediately after the grass harvest will prevent dodder sprouting until mid-August. It is recommended to apply 40 liters of water per decare in late winter spraying and at least 60 liters of water per decare immediately after harvest. If there is no rainfall following the application of the drug and/or if it is to be used after a particularly dry season, in order to obtain a good effect from EFDAL PROKERP 50 WP, wet the soil lightly (5-10 mm) with sprinkler irrigation after the drug has dried.
ROLL PLANTS: If winter cereals are to be planted as rotation plants in the area where EFDAL PROKERP 50 WP has been applied following sugar beet, make sure that the soil is ploughed at least 15 cm deep.
