Corn Worm in Corn: A 50-acre field is considered a unit. By going in a zigzag manner in the field, the infestation (egg cluster or lesions on leaves, stems, cobs, tops and cob tassels) in 100 plants is detected. If the number of infected plants is 5% or more, 2 or 3 applications are made at 14-day intervals.

Pistachio psyllid in pistachio: Spraying is done once a week from mid-May when there are 20-30 nymphs/leaf in 100 compound leaves before the first parasitoid adults emerge.
