Product features

MODE OF ACTION: Abamectin: It is contact and stomach poison effective, Insecticide, Acaricide and Nematicide. Its systemic activity is limited and it has translaminar properties in plants.
Spirodiclofen: It is contact effective. It prevents the development periods of mites.

INFORMATION ABOUT RESISTANCE: The plant protection product named EFDAL RIVA SC 240 is an acaricide classified as Group 23;6 according to its mechanism of action. Repeated applications of plant protection products with the same mechanism of action encourage the development of resistance. Therefore, in order to delay the development of resistance, do not exceed the total recommended number of applications of EFDAL RIVA SC 240 within the same production season. In cases where the application must be repeated, be careful to use plant protection products with different mechanisms of action (except Group 23;6).

MIXABLE CONDITION: A premix test must be performed before using it by mixing it with other plant protection products.

Usage

Against European red spider and hawthorn mite in apples, and against Two-spotted red spider in cherries and peaches: Application should be made if the number of red spiders exceeds 8-10 individuals per leaf in periodic counts to be made on 100 leaves starting from May.

Warning! Spraying should be done on fruitless trees or after harvest in cherries.

Against Two-spotted red spider in vineyards: Vineyard areas where the pest has spread should be kept under observation. Chemical control should be done when 5-8 red spiders are detected on average on a leaf. If the pest population density exceeds the threshold in counts made after the end of the effect period of the plant protection product used in the first application, the second application is made. In applications made before harvest, the application is terminated by taking into account the waiting period of the acaricide used.
