Product features

MODE OF ACTION: It is a selective and selectively effective acaricide. It is effective during the development periods of mites. It is effective against Red Spider species that have become resistant to acaricides.

INFORMATION ABOUT RESISTANCE: The plant protection product named EFDAL SİPROFEN SC 240 is an acaricide classified as Group 23 according to its mechanism of action. Repeated applications of plant protection products with the same mechanism of action encourage the development of resistance. For this reason, in order to delay the development of resistance, do not exceed the total number of recommended applications of EFDAL SİPROFEN SC 240 within the same production season. In cases where the application must be repeated, be careful to use plant protection products with different mechanisms of action (except Group 23).

MIXABLE CONDITION: It is not recommended to be mixed with other plant protection products. If a mixture is required, a premix test should be performed.

Usage

Vineyard-Two-Spotted Red Spider: Application should be made when 5-8 live individuals are seen per leaf.

Apple-Hawthorn Mite: Application should be made when an average of 3-5 live individuals are seen per leaf.

Apple-European Red Spider: Application should be made when an average of 8-10 live individuals are seen per leaf in periodic counts to be made on 100 leaves starting from the beginning of May.

Cherry-Two-Spotted Red Spider: Applications can be made on fruitless trees or after harvest.

Peach-Two-Spotted Red Spider: Application can be made if an average of 3-5 red spiders are found per leaf in the counts made.

Citrus-Red Spider: In spring, in citrus orchards, at the end of February and the beginning of March, mobile individuals are counted on the upper and lower surfaces of the leaves with a magnifying glass. If there are 10 or more live individuals on ten leaves, control is started. Applications should be made before flowering, if this period has passed, it should be done one week after fruit set. (**) It has been determined that it is harmless against beneficial substances in citrus.
