Pear-Pear Psyllid: Spraying is done when almost all of the eggs left by the overwintering adults hatch, second and third period nymphs begin to appear and when they meet on more than 15% of the shoots. When one individual is seen on each shoot, that shoot is considered infected.
Vineyard-Two-spotted Red Spider: Application should be done when 5-8 live individuals are seen per leaf.
Cotton-Red Spider:
Early application: In strawberry areas where red spiders are a problem every year, an application should be done when red spiders are seen during the strawberry green fruit period (before the first ripe fruits are seen). Early application is safer as it does not leave residue on the fruits.
In-season application: In cases where early application is not done, strawberries grown in the open are checked at 3-5 day intervals at the beginning of the season (late March-early April). Red spiders are seen on the surrounding plants at the beginning of the season in strawberries. First of all, it is sufficient to check and apply these plants. If the population is widespread, at least 50 leaflets are examined in the middle and lower parts of the plant to represent the field. If 15 or more Red Spiders are detected per leaflet, application is decided. Application is made immediately after fruit collection. Harvest should be done considering the period between the last spraying and harvest.
Apple-Hawthorn Mite: Spraying should be done when an average of 8-10 live individuals are seen per leaf in periodic counts to be made on 100 leaves starting from the beginning of May.
Apple-European Red Spider: Spraying should be done when an average of 8-10 live individuals are seen per leaf in periodic counts to be made on 100 leaves starting from the beginning of May.
Bean-Cotton Red Spider: Application should be done when an average of 3-5 live Red Spiders are seen per leaf in bean.
Rose-Cotton Red Spider: Ornamental plant planting areas are checked frequently and Red Spiders are searched especially under the leaves. When local contamination is detected, pesticide control is applied only here, in greenhouses or open areas, generally when a widespread contamination is encountered, all of it is sprayed.
Carnation-Red Spiders: Ornamental plant planting areas are frequently checked and red spiders are searched especially under the leaves. When local contamination is detected, pesticide control is applied only here, in greenhouses or open areas, generally when a widespread contamination is encountered, all of it is sprayed.
Tomato-Red Spiders: Application should be made when an average of 3-5 live red spiders are seen per leaf in tomato.
Cotton-Red Spiders: In order to determine the time of control, checks are made when the plants have 4-6 leaves. If the pest is only found on the edge of the field or locally in it, it should only be applied to these parts. Application should be made when an average of 5 live red spiders are seen per leaf in the Mediterranean Region and 10 live red spiders are seen in the Aegean and Southeastern Anatolia Regions.
