Product features

MODE OF ACTION: EFDAL TRİBENSTAR® 75 DF is a herbicide with a wide effect area used to combat broad-leaved weeds in wheat and barley. It is used in low doses and its selectivity is quite high. It is absorbed by weeds through roots and green parts. Its permanent effect on the soil is short. The growth of weeds stops immediately after application, but the effect of the drug is seen after 1 or 3 weeks. A 2-hour rain-free period after application is important for weed control to be at the highest level. While hot and humid conditions after application accelerate the effect of EFDAL TRIBENSTAR® 75 DF, cold and dry conditions delay it.

INFORMATION ABOUT RESISTANCE: The plant protection product named EFDAL TRIBENSTAR® 75 DF is a herbicide classified as Group B according to its mechanism of action. When herbicides with the same mechanism of action are used repeatedly and for many years in the same place, it can be seen that some weed species gain resistance and become dominant in that region. As a result, the recommended doses of herbicides cannot provide sufficient effect against these weeds. Therefore, in order to delay the development of resistance, do not exceed the recommended total number of applications of EFDAL TRIBENSTAR® 75 DF within the same production season. In cases where the application must be repeated, be careful to use plant protection products with different mechanisms of action (other than B). Alternating use of herbicides with other mechanisms of action or making tank mixtures with such herbicides and cultural treatments such as soil cultivation delay or prevent weeds from gaining resistance. Do not apply EFDAL TRIBENSTAR® 75 DF in the same place more than once in a season.

COMPATIBILITY: It is not recommended to mix with other plant products. If a mix is required, a pre-mix test is recommended.

Usage

APPLICATION TIME: It can be used safely from the 2-leaf stage of cereals to the sheath stage (within the ear sheath). Since EFDAL TRIBENSTAR® 75 DF provides great flexibility in terms of application time, the application time is determined according to the growth stages of the problematic weeds. The best results are obtained when the weeds are at least in the two-leaf stage, but before they reach a height or diameter of 15 cm and before the weeds are covered by the cereal. In fields where there is a lot of bluegrass, spraying should be done during the rosette stage when the bluegrass has 7-8 leaves and reaches a diameter of 8-9 cm.

Since damage to the product may occur, do not apply EFDAL TRIBENSTAR® 75 DF to plants that are under pressure due to abnormal weather conditions and drought or damaged by pests.
CROP ROTATION: After using EFDAL TRIBENSTAR® 75 DF in wheat and barley, any crop plant that enters a normal crop rotation can be planted.
