Product features

MODE OF ACTION: It is a selective, systemic herbicide. It inhibits carotenoid biosynthesis.

INFORMATION ABOUT RESISTANCE: The plant protection product named EFDAL ZAFFAR 600 is a herbicide classified as Group F3 according to its mechanism of action. Repeated applications of plant protection products with the same mechanism of action encourage the development of resistance. For this reason, in order to delay the development of resistance, do not exceed the total recommended number of applications of EFDAL ZAFFAR 600 within the same production season. In cases where the application must be repeated, be careful to use plant protection products with different mechanisms of action (except Group F3).

COMPATIBILITY: It is not recommended to mix it with other drugs. If a mixture is required, a premix test should be performed.

Usage

USAGE: Shake the medicine package vigorously before use. Fill the sprayer tank halfway with water. While the mixer is running, add the required amount of medicine and refill with water. In pre-emergence spraying, the soil surface should be wetted properly. For this, the soil should be well-cultivated, clod-free and 20-40 L of water should be used per decare. In post-emergence spraying, short-term and temporary light yellowing may be observed in the cultivated plant.

EFDAL ZAFFAR 600 can be used safely in commonly planted chickpea varieties (such as Gökçe, Akçin, Sarı-98, Menemen 92, Damla, Aydın-92, Mediterranean and Central Anatolian local varieties). However, it should not be used in some local varieties (such as Diyarbakır) in the Southeastern Anatolia Region because it is phytotoxic. Consult the company before using it in other varieties
